Operating principle:

  • The unit of plane angle is reproduced by:

    • Interference examiner (in the small-angle region) in static mode according to an expression that depends on the wavelength of the laser radiation and the pixel size of the examiner's camera (traceability to the State Primary Standard of the unit of length - the meter GET 2-2021 is ensured ГЭТ 2-2021),
    • Angle measuring stand in dynamic mode using the reading method from the angular scale of an optical angle converter.

    From the examiner, the plane angle unit is transmitted to the autocollimators, which, together with the rotary table, transmit the unit to the polyhedral prisms. From the angle measuring stand, the plane angle unit is transmitted to the angle measuring transducers.

Results of applying the standard:

ГЭТ 22-2014 provides reproduction of the plane angle unit in static mode in the range from 0 to 15" with an unexcluded systematic error of 0.0006" and a standard deviation of 0.005", and in dynamic mode in the range from 0 to 360° with an unexcluded systematic error of 0.021" and a standard deviation of 0.01".

ГЭТ 22-2014 ensures the presence of the Russian Federation in the international database of measuring and calibration capabilities of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures.

The transfer of the unit of plane angle to the State secondary and working standards in accordance with the State verification scheme has been ensured.

Unique technical installations as part of the standard:

ГЭТ 22-2014 includes unique installations developed by the staff of the Geometric Measurements Department of the D.I. Mendeleyev All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Metrology:

  • An interference examiner based on a modified multi-beam reflecting Fizeau interferometer;
  • Angle measuring stand operating in dynamic mode, based on an optical angle converter and a ring laser.
