Operating principle:
- The basis of the reference installation ЭУ1 ГЭТ 18-2014 a method of hydrostatic weighing of an artifact is proposed - a reference sphere made of quartz glass with known values of mass and volume;
- ЭУ2 ГЭТ 18-2014 reference installation is based on the pycnometric method for measuring the density of liquefied gases and liquids under pressure using a pycnometer with an expansion chamber.
Composition of the standard:
The State Primary Standard of the Unit of Density consists of the following set of standard installations:
- EU1 - standard installation for reproducing and transmitting the unit of density under normal conditions using the hydrostatic weighing method;
- EU2 - standard installation for reproducing and transmitting the unit of density in the following ranges:
temperatures from 0 to 100 °C;
pressures from 0 to 10 MPa.
